They ship in bags of 8.8 ounces (approximately 120-ish pieces), which covers slightly under 1/3 of a square foot with a standard grout gap of 1/16 inch. Each bag contains an assortment of polygon shapes.
Recycled glass is a homogeneous material made by fusing powdered glass. It has solid and consistent color all the way through and cuts cleanly and predictably using the Wheel-bladed Mosaic Glass Cutter. Hard, durable, and UV-resistant, it is suitable for commercial exteriors and murals.

Coverage
Each 1/2-pound bag of about 120+ tiles covers almost 1/3 of a square foot assuming a standard grout gap of 1/16 inch. Use our tile estimator to calculate how much you need for your grouted project.
Compatibility
Like most of the glass tile we sell, polygons have a nominal thickness of 1/8 inch (4mm).
Grout Gap?
Note that dry indoor mosaics do not require grouting, and so for those you can simply mount the tiles tightly together. On the other hand, wet and outdoor mosaics must have grout to prevent water from penetrating behind the tiles. For those, leaving a 1/16-inch gap allows enough grout to adhere between the tiles.
Cutting Morjo™ Polygon Glass Mosaic Tiles
Morjo™ brand recycled glass mosaic tile cuts easily into tiny pieces using a pair of Mosaic Glass Cutters.
Polygon Tile in Mosaic Art
Use polygon tiles to create textural organic patterns similar to cracked earth, snakeskin, or tree bark, where irregular shapes are prominent. Polygon shapes can also give you a head start compared to cutting down square tiles into illustrative shapes. Our other mixed shape tiles include Irregular Ceramic and translucent Soft Glass Shapes.
