Vitreous glass mosaic tiles. Loose tile in bags are nominally 1 pound and contain between 140 to 150 tiles. Tile dimensions are an industry standard 3/4" x 3/4" and over 1/8" thick. The backs of the tiles have ridges to help glue bond more securely. Very economical and colorful, these tiles can be mixed and matched with other brands of vitreous. The tiles should be cut with the Mosaic Glass Cutters we sell. A regular tile nipper tends to crush the glass and create too much waste. 218 loose tiles will cover 1 square foot with a grout spacing of about 1/16 inch between the tiles Please see our Tile Calculator page for more information.
