Hexagonal metal patio table is 26" high with 16" unfinished hardwood surface ready to mosaic with the design and materials of your choice (sold separately). The table assembles in minutes with an ordinary screwdriver. The solid wood top is surrounded by a metal rim that acts as a border to protect the edges of the mosaic. A mosaic table is an ideal first project for the beginner! The 16" hex top is about 192 square inches of surface, so you should be able to cover the surface with 300 of the 3/4" glass mosaic tiles, allowing some left over. One 8 oz Weldbond and one 2lb container of grout should be sufficient for making a mosaic table of this size. These tables were designed for vitreous glass tile. Avoid stone and thicker materials which may overload the table or make it unstable.
